What we do

"Problems cannot be solved by thinking within the framework in which they were created." : Scientist Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

We can successfully implement a policy and it's supporting processes to achieve the philosophy of Self Care within your organisation. We also take care of the communication and education pivotal to it's success.

The 'Health and Wellbeing' Government paper concludes that involving all stakeholders is critical to the success of improving health in the workplace. Stakeholders include employers, employees and health workers.

The introduction and preservation of Self Care is a large, consuming task for management and/or a Human Resources team to plan, educate, communicate and deploy. We will provide the framework and activities to make this happen with minimal interference to the daily running of your company. Let us take away the pressure and deliver the results by:

Quantifiable Benefits of Self Care in the Workplace

Workplace general wellness via Self Care is a policy that really works. Results from US companies, shown below, will prompt you to consider investing in your most important asset -your employees and the outcome this can have on your bottom line.

"Du Pont saw that each dollar invested in workplace health promotion yielded $1.42 over two years in lower absenteeism costs at Du Pont Co. (Well Workplace Gold in Delaware). Absences from illness unrelated to the job among 45,000 blue-collar workers dropped 14% at 41 industrial sites where the health promotion program was offered, compared with a 5.8% decline at 19 sites where it was not." : The Wellness Council of America

The Stay Alive & Well program at Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Company, based in Las Vegas, cost $76.24 per employee during the two years it has been in operation. Over half of the 1,600 employees participated (with up to 80% participation rates in the intervention program). Participants significantly lowered cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and weight and experienced 21% lower lifestyle-related claim costs than non-participant. Resulting savings: $127.89 per participant with a benefit to cost ratio of 1.68 to 1. : The Wellness Council of America
