Young People
"Adolescence is that time when I think, it can be - it's the cruellest place on Earth. It can really be heartless." : Tori Amos
Growing up is equally the most challenging and exciting stage in anybody's life. There is just so much going on in every aspect of it. How you look after yourself now, whilst your body is developing, will be your insurance to lasting health and good looks.
Fact: Your health habits and attitudes during adolescence
affect you for the rest of your life.
As a highly experienced Life Coach with specific expertise in health coaching for young people, I can make a real difference to the quality of young peoples lives both now and for many years to come.
What is Health Coaching?
I work with clients to change their outcomes in life positively. For young people, this is centred on improving their general well-being, both mentally and physically and includes:
- Fitness
- Diet & nutrition
- General health
- Achieving & enjoying
"The mind is like an umbrella - it only works when it is open." : Scientist Sir James Jeans (1877-1946)
A successful coach needs to understand how clients' beliefs and values are formed to establish how they help or hinder them in life. With over two years professional training with young people, I have the skill and practical experience to build rapport to positively influence their attitude to their health.
Following the establishment of young peoples' goals and requirements, a practical approach to improving their health is agreed aimed at making tangible improvements within realistic timescales. Regular reviews and continuous communication means that the coaching supports them at every step of the way as they work towards their committed goals.

A Coaching Framework
The following framework is then applied and has been formulated to get results.
Why Choose Me?
I have worked with young people for over two years. My success is due to my specialist expertise and ability to form rapport with young people and to get the best from them. I also believe in making coaching for health fun for young people. That way it's more rewarding for all involved!

My array of technical knowledge covers the cardiovascular system, skeletal structure, muscular and motor components of a young person's body and how they are impacted by physical activity.
